This health check assists with the timely detection and prevention of chronic disease and enables early intervention strategies..

Immunisations are a safe and effective way of protecting us against the most serious infections before we come in contact with them in the community.
Immunisations not only protect your child/yourself, but also others in the community, by reducing the spread of diseases.
Healthology Medical Centre can administer those vaccines funded under the National Immunisation Program for children and adults.
We also offer seasonal "flu" vaccinations which commence around March/April each year.
Our Risdon and Rokeby Medical Centres offer Pfizer vaccinations for those that are eligible.
Improving the health and well-being of Australian children, and promoting early detection of lifestyle risk factors, delayed development and illness is important in ensuring a healthy childhood which leads to a long healthy life. Even though there are no guarantees, we believe that tracking your child’s health, and any changes to it along the way, is important.
We offer general health checks and childrenhood vaccinations.
Immunisation protects children against a range of preventable and life-threatening diseases and infections. Some recommended vaccines are funded by the government. Routine immunisations for children under four include; chickenpox, hepatitis B, measles, meningococcal AWCY, mumps, polio, pneumococcal, rubella, tetanus and whooping cough.

Mental Health Care Plans
A Mental Health Care Plan is a plan composed by your doctor for the treatment of a mental health problem over time.
In order to prepare a Mental Health Care Plan your doctor will need to work with you in order to assess your mental health, work out what help you may need, set goals and choose the treatment that would be best for you. Your doctor will also discuss treatment options and advise you about any other services that might benefit you. The plan may also include what to do in a crisis, or how to prevent a relapse.
Once you and your doctor have agreed on your goals and what you need to do to achieve them, your doctor will write out a Mental Health Care Plan. Preparing the plan may take a number of visits.
These plans allow you to get up to 10 free sessions with a professional either of your choice or the Doctors recommendation.
